In July 2015 the Service Users went for a holiday to Jersey. 

We were all very excited about the flight over to Jersey. The group really enjoyed looking at all the different planes and trying to guess which plane was going to take us on holiday.

On arrival at Jersey Airport we were met by two staff members from Maison Des Lands Hotel. They helped us load all the bags onto the mini buses. They then took us to the hotel.

At the hotel we were met by the Manager who made everybody feel most welcome and he showed us to the rooms that we were allocated. The service users then chose the room they liked best. The rooms had everything we needed for an enjoyable holiday.

Once we were all settled in our room we then went for dinner.  As we sat down for dinner we were all given a glass of champagne. The Manager then officially welcomed everyone to the hotel. He then advised us that they had planned a lot of exciting trips for us. Here are some of the places that we visited:

We also visited the War Hospital which was underground and we were also taken to lots of other places all over Jersey.

There was great entertainment at night including music nights, quiz nights and ten pin bowling. There was an indoor swimming pool which we all made great use of after returning from our daily activities.

The food was really good and we had lots of choices to choose from for both breakfast and dinner and we were given a packed lunch every day. The staff at the hotel were all great and could not have been more helpful.
